Wow, I leave this blog abandoned without an update for one of two reasons: a) Absolutely nothing has been worth mentioning in life or b) Everything all of a sudden becomes worth mentioning in life. If you haven't guessed it's the latter; Valentines day was officially the best day of my life. And not just because of all that free chocolate. It started out on thursday night, when I went to go get Megan a card for valentines. It was the funniest thing i've ever seen; 90 guys crawling and scraping just to grab a card, ANY card, for their loved one at the last minute. I of course couldn't say anything because I was there for the exact same reason as those 90 other guys, I simply clawed my way through and found the perfect card. That night I still wasn't exactally sure what I was gonna do tommorow, I decided to let things take their own course and fell asleep.
School was a complete joke on friday, and I certainly wasn't one to complain. For 3 dollars (5 with a rose), a group of girls or guys would come deliver to the selected person a singing valentine. Not to be one to pass up such an amazing opportunity for embarrasment, I plopped down my three bucks to have a group of guys serinade my male biology teacher, Mr. Caudill, with the lovely ballad My Girl. Needless to say it was the funniest thing to see some dudes come in asking for "Cap'n Caudill" and sing My Girl to him. He recognized some of the handwriting in the card as mine but of couse he has no proof and several other people signed it as well. He still doesn't get what "LOL YUO HAEV BEEN ROOFLE PWNED" means. So anyways, every single period was interrupted by these said singing valentines, and the school day came to an anticlimactic close with talking aimlessly in ELP for an hour. Rode the bus home, brushed my hair....whew I was ready.
I went over to Megan's house around 4, and gave her the card. I know I know, I should have brought over chocolates, a present, jewelry, SOMETHING other than just a stinkin card, right? Fortunately for me that wasn't even the whole point of me going over there, I had another present to deliver. We chatted for a while, but I really had to get going since my little brother was gonna be home soon. So then we hugged, and that first kiss each of had been waiting our whole lives for happened. I still can't believe it really happened, the more I think about that afternoon the less easy it is for me to specifically place my finger on it. I keep thinking i'm going to wake up from this dream, that the whole kiss with her wasn't real. This kind of good stuff doesn't happen to me, remember? Yet I know it did, and I couldn't be more ecstatic that it was Megan and not anybody else. I was in a complete daydream the rest of the day, and even now when I close my eyes and picture her and that afternoon I get a little light headed. She's so beautiful, I don't know what took me so long to finally listen to what that little voice in my heart had been SCREAMING at me for so long. So everything's set with her and I now you could say, after a very very long time James finally has a girlfriend. I don't consider any other relationships i've had to fall in this category. What else is there to say about it? Things are perfect.
To all those Sharparonis and whatnots out there, I'm sorry to bore you with all these good thing happening all of a sudden. It's not to make you feel bad or anything but I sort of feel like I deserve to feel this way, it's been wayyy to long. Well that's what's been going on in east nowhere, NC, right now there's impending winter weather and homework to keep me busy. Word up Nintendophiles!
